The ACLU would be wasting their time. The law is perfectly clear. In states that have "right to work", you can bring someone into your office, say "I don't like the color of your shirt. I don't like the way you pronounce 'February'. I don't like your wife's mother's sister's daughter. And, I especially don't like the temperature today. Therefore, you are fired. Get out!"

And, there isn't a single thing anyone alive can do about it!

What these pussy's don't realize is that most of this crap that is in their brains about hiring and firing is totally made up to intimidate employers. Once word gets out that you don't have to be intimidated, the flood gates will open up.

Unless the person falls into a protected class (race, religion, sex, age, disability), there is no protection in some states. In some states there are some additional protections, but mostly only in that they require everyone be treated the same - and some requirements about what is in the company handbook, etc.

It's about time employers took back their companies IMO.
