thanks for this information but how does the increase in blood flow causing enlargement solve the urinary symptoms-e.g. reduced flow ,frequency, urgency incontinence etc?

What side effects are there, if any, in the partners of men using this topical ? I presume a fair portion of the medication remains on the skin and would be transferred and absorbed during intercourse.

Dr Mulhall's poster presentation claims an improvement of between 1.6 and 2.5 points (IIEF-EF) in the treated patients. This is less than most ED-treatment trials achieve in the placebo group.
The only previous double-blind trial failed to complete when more than 50% of patients left before the end, and the sponsor withdrew funding.

From my readings, can be used for all patients with ED, increase blood flow to penis. Believe onset is 15 minutes, at this time their formulation requires refridgeration however will last 7 days at room temperature. They are also planning on clinical studies Phase III of female version called "Femprox" to treat female sexual arousal disorder (there are currently no available medication to treat this disorder). They have done preliminary studies in ~500 women in China. If this all works in the real world it could be the next big ED medication. Production maybe early as 6 months--Europe or Canada, it's already approved in Canada.

The only concern I would have is the topical product producing the same penile pain than the injectable one, although the report says is mild to moderate.
I guess the only way to find out would be a study comparing both methods of delivery.
