Because there are many risks that hang over the share price. I know some here don't care but most investors want to see their stocks go up. The fact that they have no partner and will need to sell many shares to fund the PIIi is the big pressure on sp. Add in the botched trial, poor first line results and there is still a need to validate the science. PIII results a long way off. More positive results from other trials (though poor results in liver - less than stellar in breast will be problem) or details on look in, may be enough to absorb all of the selling pphm will need to do. Without it hard to see enough buyside interest to get share price up. If the end of year comes and they are still single, the unkept promise of a partner before PIII will likely further drag down the sp. In short; no reason to buy now, many to hold and with pphm a big seller, where will all these shares go?
