Guys, let's assume Mike is a straight shooter, the investment in this oil play is real, which I believe to be true. That being said, the real questions should you should be concerned with are 1. Just who is this oil company? Who are the people involved in the day to day operation of this oil company, and what are their reputations ? Do they have a good record operating their leases with the D.O.G.? or Have they been fined by the D.O.G. and or any environmental agencies ? Do they maintain accurate production logs so they can verify production vs. income. What is the oil companies lift cost ? Are they a conservative operation-or-do they spend a lot of money running their lease ? Is the lease a FEE hold or do they paid royalties to the mineral holders ? If you believe this project to be real, then it's time to get answers to the real questions.
