As for my post, I just Googled the address and posted a link to what I found. I still say that anybody thinking of putting any money into that "mine" should check the county real estate records first.

I also would like to see that Google Earth pic, but I've got bugs in my computer. The location/legal description can be gotten from the geology report. If anybody has that Google Earth shot, please post it. I'm going to be surprised if all that earth-moving equipment is still there. I've heard that such a Google Earth shot exists, but nobody's posted one.

Also, if anybody has any connections in or around Sumpter, maybe we can get somebody to run out and take some pics, since Bubba and Timmay didn't choose to burden us with any of theirs.

One last thing regarding financing--that would be a miracle if somebody with $150 in the bank can get somebody to loan him $1.5 million for a down payment on a "gold mine."

I'll believe it when I see it. It appears that the marketplace shares my skepticism.
