Item 2.02. Results of Operations and Financial Condition
Apple Computer, Inc. CEO Steve Jobs announced at Macworld Expo certain results of the Company's fiscal quarter ended December 31, 2005. The Company's retail stores generated $1 billion in quarterly revenue for the first time ever, contributing to total Company revenue for the quarter of approximately $5.7 billion. The Company sold 1.25 million Macintosh(R) computers and 14 million iPods during the quarter.
The Company will conduct its conference call discussing first fiscal quarter results on January 18, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. PST.
