Yesterday me, in up to my eyeballs, Soldier Hard, and another investor visited the Landree Mine in Jasonville and afterwards the office in Sullivan. We were met by Jim Bender who subsequently introduced us to the people who man the office at the mine.

We met Dave Smith (Mine Superintendent), Ron Pickering (VP of Engineering), Scott Wolfe (1st Shift Mine Manager) and briefly Ron Hutchcraft - (President(Lily Group). After a brief safety orientation we suited up with safety equipment and then toured the surface of the mine before we went down into the mine. Dave Smith took us down 140 ft. below the surface to where they are currently mining. Man - it's another world down there. It was fascinating to see the equipment, infrastructure and operations of how they extract and transport the coal that is mined.

You really can't get a feel for the scope of the operations until you actually see it with your own eyes and see the maps of the potential areas that can be mined. They literally have only scratched the surface. To say that we were impressed would be an understatement. To see the piles of coal, the equipment, the land and the miners made it all real to me. The dedication is apparent by all we met there and the miners showed me that they have their heart and soul in this operation as well as everyone who works there.

I'm trying to figure out how to get the pics I took loaded here. Give me a few minutes.
