RSHO is Compelling
I have checked Hempmeds site and am impressed with the available and upcoming products.

Here is an interesting anecdote:
My parents have an epileptic dog that suffers from seizures on a regular basis. Currently the dog is on a cocktail of three different pharmaceutical medications. As the pooch's condition deteriorates, the dosages are consistently being raised, now costing over $250/month and much more in vetrinary care, Ivy League vet school visits, along with ruined furniture from side effects like "leaking" where the dog accidentally urinates.

My parents are aware of the recent advancements in treating epilepsy with cannabis, although they still have the typical view of getting the dog "stoned" for treatment, despite my explanation that CBDs and hemp oil are non-euphoric compounds. After some discussion, my parents are not ready to switch medication or even supplement the current regiment with hemp oil.

My counter to them is a simple analogy;
When you have a stripped screw that you are trying to remove and no amount of torque, pressure or force with a screwdriver seems to work, at some point you simply have to switch tools and try another method. Maybe it is oversimplistic, but in the case of modern western medicine, the drugs don't remove the proverbial screw and all the additional application of force symbolizes the tolerance built by overuse.

So the dog started on xxx milligrams of each drug and the seizures were relatively under control. But then 6-12 later the drugs are not as effective, therefore the dosage is raised and another few months pass before the cycle is repeated. Pretty soon the dog is leaking regularly, experiencing rapid and large weight fluctuations, and other increasingly harmful side effects.

Have no fear for my parents or the pup because I will just buy them the 10g tube for them to use when ready. But what does this have to do with MJNA?

Well, I checked the Hempmeds site and was a little surprised to see the cost of the RSHO. Fortunately, money is not an option for me or my parents, but at $500 for what appears to be a 10 day supply, that is a decent piece of coin. I probably use $20-100 worth of cannabis edibles or smokables in the same time frame and that can add up. Without health care subsidization, the RSHO would be a large expense for most folks. I do understand that MJNA and Hempmeds are operating in the expensive health care industry and the companies also need to recoup development costs as quickly as possible but the price point seems like a difficult barrier.

Anecdotes aside, the most important part of my Hempmeds website visit is that MJNA is working to bring legal CBD to the market. Since MJNA supposedly doesn't operate in the THC sector, they should be able to raise capital from traditional banks and institutions. Anyway, I was impressed and see good things from all this
