Dividend Stock...ya, right. What nobody tells you until AFTER the FACT that the SEC (or some government agency) swipes 40% of your divided from MGIC as the $$ get transferred from Israel to your back pocket in the USA. My $500 dividend was reduced to $300 by the time it hit my brokerage account. After some research I learned that the government (I believe it to be the USA) grabs 40% of YOUR dividend as some form of SEC import fee. WHAT A RIP OFF. Don't be fooled by all of the dividend hype on MGIC.
