Whether the samples are free or not the main thing you should grab from that PR is that QMC met the customers spec.

"Quantum Materials recently developed tetrapod quantum dots to meet the client's performance specifications."

Meeting the customers spec is usually more than half the battle. At least in the oleo chemical world where I work. JMHO.
