"outlawed weapons" The Syrians are one of 5 countries that have not signed on to the Chemical Weapons Convention. So the weapons are not outlawed in their country. The chemical weapons have been used on their own people, not on the people of another country that are part of the Chemical Weapons Convention. So it's the people of Syria that needs to deal with this problem, since they have created the problem.
This is a prime example of what happens when the people relinquish all their rights and allow their government to own them. Then the government also feels they have the right to kill them.
