EP et al, looks like you can put to rest your concerns about the Opteron launch date, since it seems to already be available through distributors now. My only concern is that it's only 240 and 242 that are available now, with 244 to come in May. Now that may mean only a week or two behind, but who knows? The other thing is the frequency question. Does 240 = 1.4GHz and 242 = 1.6GHz or is it 1.6 and 1.8GHz? 1.8 and 2.0GHz are probably wishful thinking.
