EP, doesn't PCI-Express require a licensing fee? That's a big reason for aHT to succeed over PCI-Express. Every penny counts when it comes to hardware costs. That and the fact that aHT already has a good foothold, not only in motherboards, but in the networking equipment world. Seems to me that their end uses were somewhat different as well, aHT being more a chip-to-chip system and PCI-Express being more for peripherals/expansion slots, right?
