Bueno, we agree. That is precisely why selling the processors is a great idea. We sell them for all costs associated with getting them operational. Our profit will come to us in the form of payments 1) on completion of installation and 2) residual payments… forever!
“The machines seem to require "optimal" plastic. And obviously what that means exactly has never been defined by the company”
Bueno, have you ever played poker. Why would they show their hand when, believe it or not, there are people who would use that info against them.
“but we do know it means it has a market value and the company is forced to buy it.”
Really? How do you know that the costs are not largely costs associated with transporting the plastic to NF?
“So the buyer of the machine would have to have a supply of this "optimal" plastic and decide instead of selling the plastic they would rather turn it into fuel which historically is done at negative margins.”
(see previous answers, above)
“There are also issues around who is going to warranty the machines. The reality is liability for a failure could be financially crippling.”
Issues like this must be pre-addressed in the original agreement by individuals with more experience in these matters than me.
“And they also run the risk of the catalyst being exposed to a broader audience of players.”
Again, issues like this must be pre-addressed in the original agreement by individuals with more experience in these matters than me.
