I kept a few of the dispensers from my last order of the flavored ones. I've been refilling them ever since with the unflavored variety. I tried removing the cover, popping the top and dumping in a bunch. The top comes off in your pocket, 
even when I used Scotch tape.
Now I just extend the tray, insert one lozenge, retract the tray, tilt the container back and repeat 20 - 30 times. A Nuisance, but it works.
