Skin deterioration is a common problem for the elderly. Especially, those on coumadin. It is quite common to break off a patch of skin when simply grabbing an arm to help steady someone that is about to fall. The ensuing infection leads to serious problems. Try avoiding grabbing her wrist if possible. Put an arm around the waist when steadying her.
The facial skin seems to deteriate first, followed by the wrist. When using the facial products I always put some on my wrist area in addition to the neck for preventive maintenance. I use the products very sparingly and apply on moist skin so it spreads around easier.
With age we also have fewer stem cells in our skin and it may take longer for the product to work on an older person. I just don't know whether the day, or night cream would be more effective for her. You may want to call Donna Queen and ask her if she has a suggestion. Or, Elizabeth Hale. http://www.lifelineskincare.com/blog
Has your mother's Dr suggested anything for her skin? I don't believe there are many good options. That is one of the reasons I'm excited about the potential here. Many have these issues.

With these products not being inexpensive, and the weight/volume of the product fairly small, I am wondering how long these products last at the recommended application rates? I realize the product is not the least costly to manufacture, so I can understand the cost. I just am curious of the $/day usage rate needed to maintain effectiveness and how that compares with the average consumers cost pain tolerance that can effect initial and replacement sales.
It sounds like you and several others might be able to provide some feedback regarding how often you need to re-purchase at your preferred rate of usage.
My mother has an ulnar nerve issue that has left her with an atrophied left hand with loss of muscle mass, tissue and some skin deterioration. She is 81 with some good facial skin for her age. Is there one of these products you might recommend I try above the others to do an effectiveness test with her for the face, hand or eye area or anything else?
Thanks for any information.
