I still do not understand how a USA company can be split into 2 parts . . . international assets and USA assets awards, by a USA Judge. Isn't such things suppose to have world court approval (or agreements between governmental parties in said legal venues)? For example, Mexico and France (to take two examples of sales and manufacturing, possibilities) just role over and let anyone dictate who and what happens to physical assets and sales in their respective countries? We have heard nothing from international venues of political control over export and import valuations. EU for one, is quite touchy right now about any commerce implications of 'beloved' USA companies.
Yank . . . I hope that Texas $300 Mil cluster cost includes payments to those who sue and say they and those of their family, business circle, who were (or are) experiencing medical and personal property 'shortfalls', due to XIDE toxicity/production issues compensation.
Its really beginning to look like XIDE will have no further USA sales of their products, and only third world international sales possibilities? Hawaii (can't spell it correctly?) company with solar cell and/or wind farm had trouble with lead acid batteries system storage fire. I can't remember whose Pb batts were used or whether 12V batts couldn't do the job. The problem might have been the voltage regulator system oversight circuit also. Series/parallel battery systems without active computer monitoring sensor Software, would not have been a wise design idea (if that whats transpired). I do not know if it was XIDE lead acid batteries used (I am thinking not). I was reading about Japanese long-range economic planning for recovery to include advantaged battery technologies development and the artl. mentioned in a sub artl. about the problem with the lead acid battery power storage bank. This is the kind of thing that can happen when one company sells the batteries and another company handles the battery operation oversight.
I am also now thinking XIDE 'cans' its USA production and sales and just sells all the good stuff to other companies, and will work out some sort of loyalty rev from the other domestic companies, etc. that use its brand name?
As to the USA toxic lead plants, etc. problems . . . EPA will be stuck with them under its huge 'dump tarp', and 'papered over' via routine 'visits' and contracts for warning signs and maybe . . . metal fences around them? They could not bring back the asbestos or agent orange or lead paint . . . nor lead water piping. If the USA judge OKs ending XIDE USA . . . it does make one wonder who gets the chairs after the music stops.
I am doubting if in another type scenario comes about, will we also find XIDE even would import XIDE brand into USA anymore.
Anyone have any thoughts of this take?
Wouldn't it be amazing if the BK ploy was all about tying up the toxic lead dump issues in court for decades? The politics of avoiding further unemployment, alternatively, could keep XIDE making batteries and opening new plant and battery technology all the while. What a true mystery plot all this is, my ramblings aside.
