Nokia will allow Microsoft to innovate on a smaller scale and then port out technology that is not currently available yet because of barriers. I say around Q2 2014 MSFT will begin to change the momentum and then start releasing some attractive products that are powerful and able to perform some large tasks across several platforms. I don't see the surface as a failure, but rather tablets are extremely efficient to folks right now. In the business management realm however there is a need for a better mobile platform as the industry gets ready to evolve into more of a real-time environment with statistics and logistics needed simultaneously at any given minute.
