APS promos are better than most - they have a chance of running until 10:30 or so, and normally have two spikes on day 1 before an initial pull back. Get in during spike 1, exit during spike 2. Of course, it is possible spike 1 will crash, so be careful. Figure out where most people got in on spike 1; ie, what is the average cost per share for the masses. If the PPS dips below this level before spike 2, I will exit.

Once I exit from the morning excitement, I wait until EOD to decide whether to buy into an expected EOD rally and Day 2 gapup - which I would sell in the morning. Many traders hold off on APS picks until Day 3 as the ticker will normally reset before its 2-3 week rally. XUII did not follow the typical APS patter, but the 4 picks before that did (XUII rallied late and did not go as high as past picks).

Whoever loves money never has money enough; whoever loves wealth is never satisfied with his income. I have seen all the things that are done under the sun; all of them are meaningless, a chasing after the wind. Only trade for the sake of trading.
