Big oil [as in American] companies were in the JDZ ! If they wanted to still be there they would be ! Going after a small fish like ERHC would have been the least of their concerns !

The lack of interest in the EEZ by American oil companies pretty much tells the tale !

I'm sure it would not be the first time that any of these companies greased a few palms.
