Live or record conference calls doesn't matter to me, what matters is that they answer important questions.

If it was live, questions might suck and we may not be able to hear a well thought out answer. If Recorded, they have time to take the good questions and think about what those questions are asking and then give us a more informative and detailed answer, thats my take.

What matters most is what information they give us. We may hear many of the same stuff or we may likely hear new stuff, but its surely better than another PR and Im glad they are doing it at all
