GBG Inc., Antler, and Rodeo did not do business in Canada nor did they have assets in Canada. As such, the Court held that these companies could not be considered “debtor companies” as defined in the CCAA. Accordingly, there was no jurisdictional basis to add those companies to the CCAA proceedings...

So if the CCAA had no jurisdiction over GBG Inc., Antler, and most importantly Rodeo...
