Exactly. We won't see a prohibition type ending. Mostly because it's not so much Americans the illegal drug trade affects. If the midwest looks like Mexico does now, it would already be federally legal.

Instead, the government has realized they are throwing away tons of money we no longer have to throw away, but if they regulate and tax it, it can turn them a profit.
