The Rules of War

It's something about poison gas;
it's nasty, not civilized,
nice people don't use it.

It's against the Rules of War
(you have a copy, it's that little white booklet
that came inside the box):

you can kill them this way
and even this way,
but definitely not that way.

You can bayonet them,
shoot them, burn them, blow them up
or bury them alive.

You can rape them, starve them,
crush them, drown them, and yes,
nuking them is just fine.

But don't even think
about gassing them.
Just not cricket. Against the rules.
