Agreed. While I honestly don't think the Phototron itself is any great game change technology wise, that is the first place I would look to get something like that. I have seen their ad in High Times for my entire life. The unit looks cool and people who are just getting into this want a fast turn key (EASY) solution. When you see some of the other products, they look like low-rent kitty litter boxes with holes cut into them. I do think they should do another redesign and incorporate better watering and ease of maintenance into a Phototron V2 or something. The current "add-ons" seem complex to the person who just want to "set it and forget it" (understanding that you can never really do that when growing).

They need to "upmarket" this thing and make it sophisticated yet mainstream accessible. I think they are starting based on the hot chicks they have doing the videos as well as the Amazon offering. More advertising = more mind share and an early lead when the legal restrictions begin to ease. Just IMO.
