Just speculating from observing the trading: Seems that the MM's are walking the bid and ask in a narrow range, to their benefit. They will walk the price down, most probably taking out the low limits. Then they will walk the price back up and then repeat down, etc. The ticks seem to run in streams of buys or sells, when one would expect more randomness. The range has has not been volatile enough for good retail trading, but profitable for MM's (especially when the spreads are wide). It also appears; that we are developing resistance when approaching $2 (may not be a coincidence).

If investors are placing tight stops (any stops?), they are probably giving up their shares to the MM's--who will likely walk the price down to take them out.

Todays buy volume was 94,653 and the sell was 55,226, yet we ended down slightly for the day.

I have noticed that buying picks up when the price advances, not so much when the price is retreating. I speculate that many investors wait for a move up before buying (either flippers or price alerts kicking in, etc.).

Like most, I expect the PPS to advance and may spike as we get closer to the conference on the 9th. I don't know how high the price is likely to go, but I expect well over $2. I know most people who follow CTIX believe it to be greatly undervalued. Most die hard longs are already near fully (or overly) invested, and can not advance the price on their own (without new investors coming in). Then there are lots of flippers who follow the stock and get in when there is upcoming news. They will move the price.

I am overly invested in CTIX, but trade once in awhile (a portion only). I have more invested in CTIX than any other investment (by far). CTIX has been one of my worst investments this year, but I have great confidence that this is a real winner with minimal long-term risk and tremendous upside potential. I am very happy with my CTIX investment this year as my average share price is around $1.50 (envious of you longs who bought in lower).

I can't wait for CTIX to uplist, and hope at that time for less MM manipulation and greater investor awareness and possibly some institutional investors.

These are just my personal thoughts and observations.
