I wouldn't really call it a "disgrace". But, as a visual person I would not have chosen the old typewriter font for a modern-day promotion. I also wouldn't have used the "teaching old dogs new tricks" analogy. They could benefit from a design that is sharper/crisper/faster with a stock chart zip-zinging to the moon.
Elite, Epic and Mikahs' websites are VERY second grade/cookie cutter (I know I taught second-graders how to make instant websites). But I am sure the website has been the last thing on their agenda for years.
For 30,000 shares and a few days? I will redesign Elite's website. Hmm... maybe they should have a contest
