This is absolutely true.

Being in the loan business that I'm..yes i work for hard money lender (call us loan sharking if you want my job is morally wrong but i got kids and wife addicted to food!) for people house and other things of value.

There comes a time when we do pursue our client in court. Most often we will Always DEMAND for MORE because we as a company KNOWS that WE always get LESS. your looking at 25 cent on a dollar here folks. And the judge and everyone else still think that we are the bad guy. Some borrowers are really out to scam us knowing that the law is in their best interest.

And the worst part is that this darn legal system always protect the borrowers and never the creditors. It really sucks. The judge always have sympathy for the borrower. We can't call them or even go near them because that would give them mental breakdown from stealing our money..God dam it.

There was this one case on a bad loan that we did in southern California where the Judge awarded us with a piece of Sh&$&^t property that we cant even sell for half of the original loan amount and let the client walk off with beef and a smile on his face.

This is why I dumped more money into SVFC by the way...i know how this works..I told everyone weeks ago not to panic and there wont be an auction.

Unless we are really unlucky and the Judge is a friend or somehow connected to Iron, we are toast. But what are the chance of that happening.

I mean make the DOC do something useful and start crying or something infront of the Judge..heck maybe say he was busy saving
lives or something...we might get a settlement at 250k.. : )

(Why do you guys think we only lend 30-40% of collateral value..and charge 20k to close a 200k loan. that is to cover our a$$. And your looking at a 10% + interest by the way. We are nice...there are worst out there.)
