My guess is, because MJNA doesn't file the usual filings that the SEC receives from non-pink companies, information that the SEC would expect to see -- and MJNA doesn't know they have to provide -- hasn't been included, so they have asked MJNA for it.
That's another reason for MJNA to begin to file proper reports (S-1, S-3, 10-Q, 10-K, Def 14, etc) with the SEC, rather than what they're filing at OTCMarkets.
I don't see this inquiry in and of itself as a bad omen, but just another example of MJNA's management not being ready for the "big time".
BTW, regarding MJNA's last report, I was happy to see that they finally did a direct conversion to PDF, rather than scanning a printed copy.
