I'm still drinking the wines. Bought a few samples to test for what I thought might work for each subsequent tasting. I just had a French Chardonnay that was pleasant. I will compile a list of the wines I liked and why and send it to you when I get through the case - lol. The notes may be incomprehensible!
I like the idea of each person getting a shot at recommending a wine, however, I certainly would NOT have picked the nouveau had I known it was my one and only shot at it. My goodness, it is far, FAR, FAR from the wine I would have recommended as my one and only. It simply seemed like a perfect introduction because of its fruity simplicity. Oh well. You are on the list, btw. Let me go see where you are...... right back. Oooops, you are not among the first 12 to show on the board and I haven't gotten past 15 yet but if you stick around long enough we will get to you. I'm thinking maybe every three weeks might be better than once a month if we're to do it this way. That way more people get to go. If it really flies, we'll go to once every two weeks and so on. We don't need to show for each and every tasting. Right?
