AMBS name charges caused naked short shares to be fully accounted for. TD water house (Canada) and TD ameritrade (US) were caught with pants down: To many naked shares and they were short...they then allowed us small fry retail to only sell but prevented any buying of shares: Stock price (temperature) lowered (chilled)...IMO i think it was this simple economic reasoning...
