The counterfeit market they are addressing runs into trillions of dollars as they keep saying.

What is not very clear as yet is the revenue model for APDN. How do they charge for their services or products. Do they make money for every part that they mark?. How is their income linked to volume?. Are they selling some hardware along with their DNA mark?

Apart from this APDN has to start talking about revenue from other industry segments like Textiles, Copper, Cash in Transit, Jewelry stores, etc. They are harping on this DLA contract for too long. While this is a good start and a good validation of the technology, they need to be able show acceptance from other markets. It has been more than 5 years now since they first talked about this technology.
