Scottrade is inconsistent. I'm looking at the streaming quotes screen and it says STSI is 50x38. That's in 100 share blocks. However, a small mining company I follow, MXSG, is showing 18000x47622. That's in shares, not blocks.

Maybe the style has to do with the PPS. Over a dollar seems to be in blocks, less than that is in shares. Since (sub)pennies tend to trade thousands at a time, you'd think it would be the other way around.
