These "two great American companies" you speak of are not viewed as such by the public. Surveys have shown that the vast majority of the public has a very negative opinion of Fannie and Freddie...so it's a stretch to call them "great" anything. Great at robbing ignorant retail traders maybe...but I guess that's mostly at the hands of the hedge funds that dumped all their shares during the fall from $5.

This has been the most profound pump and dump scheme I have ever witnessed. I just wish it was as obvious to the rest of the retailers here as it was to me...but everybody can't win in this game, so oh well!
