Why Un-Audited for decades?

ok, so I can imagine it costs a shiny penny to engage an auditor, but if you were running a business with Share price in mind;

as it appears MDMN does as per their constant updates to ShareHolders.

maybe I'm being naive, but

Why wouldn't you take a 1st reputable step of authenticating a core facet of the business that financials are?
