Here's the thing...

They're smart. They make you freak out so you can sell. "Oh my god... the sky is falling sell sell sell", they buy in this situation. Then they basically do the same thing by selling HUGE loads at a low price, making it hard to move the price up. So, they keep buying as people give up. VNDM controls the game here.
