TT, Interesting Post.

Sorry Overstock.com got hit. Did you have a lot invested? Best bet going forward is to never invest more than 4% of your total dollars in a single stock. I noticed they have a big loss. Shorters love unprofitable companies. Not suprised they went after them.

A lot of folk think naked short selling started in the gold markets. Know this, if you sell something you don't own, take the money, and then can't deliver to the buyer, you'll go to jail. This is pretty much the law of the land.

Best bet for overstock is to figure out how to make money. Once they do, it will probably go straight up and punish naked shorters who would like to buy back at pennies.
