I too agree with that logic as to the $180 million figure, Rick.

Regardless, the claim of JJ owning 300 mines is not implausible given his vast mining property ownership. Whether any of the 300 mines are of any financial significance (aside from ADL and LDM) is a different topic.

Regrettably, this one is a bit tougher for me, with all due respect. A few hundred mineral interests certainly do not correspond to actual mines. It is fact, most implausible, given the vigorous and energetic DD and discussion we've encouraged for the last 10+ years that "Don" Juan has 300 (or 200, or 100, or 50, or ten for that matter) operating mines, and we somehow have missed these. No doubt, we've been often sidetracked with discourse involving Shorty, Les, Polo, Bogdan, Sumitomo, "dividends", Partners A through whatever, but I'd think if JJ is such the miner in a country as small as Chile we'd know about it.

My DVR is set to record a repeat tomorrow. I'd by less than honest if I didn't admit I'm a bit worried about what I'll see.

Regardless, I found the show to be over-theatrical and slipshod, but what else would you expect from North American "reality" shows and the Hoffman crew.

Well, on the sunny side of things, over-theatrical and slipshod seem right up our alley, now doesn't it? wink
