Regardless, the claim of JJ owning 300 mines is not implausible given his vast mining property ownership.

I kind of think it is. After all, they only count if their operating mines. Properties with a hole in the ground don't count.

Obviously all this is what JJ told Discovery about himself. I find that kind of disingenuous self-promotion distasteful.
