HB and Iruquois have made no secret about their MO in companies they climb into bed with. This was expected and is what happens when you make what is unfortunately a necessary deal with the devil. The only unknowns when they are involved is "how much" and "when will it end". Combine it with the fact that a merger took effect and you always have the additional component of legacy shareholders who are exiting due to not wanting to be part of the new company for whatever reason, and the questions of "how much" and "when will it end" become more muddied.

But the fact that it was one of DSS' own financiers who bent the sp over a barrel has been something that most retail investors who have been following the stock (and familiar w/HB) figured out as soon as the sp began tanking "coincidentally" immediately following the shareholder vote...
