Congratulations to CWS9 on Victory in our contest ! It's poetic justice that the most 'sheepish' of us should win the contest, given the many outstanding stock pickers that are among us. It certainly shows that not all stocks have an equal chance of outperformance.

As Lentinman's analysis and computer simulation proved, in a world of 'equal' stocks with a random distribution of returns, it would be disadvantageous to be a 'sheep'. But in our select group, the opposite was true.

However, I think it will be more difficult to get 'super sized' returns in the 2nd contest, given more fully valued o&g microcaps, and generally fewer bargains to be found in the microcap sector.
