Trend1, RE: War, Misery etc.

Here is what I have come to understand about this world/earth. It is full of opposites (has been this way and will stay this way). Heat/Cold, Joy/Pain, Hatred/Forgiveness, Jealousy/Compassion etc.

If there were no wars/killing at all, you will not come to know/value Peace! If there was no misery, how would compassion arise in someone? How would the urge to help others arise? Folks like Bill Gates are finding more joy/peace now doing philanthropic work than when he was making his Billions (sure his work helped him earn those Billions! :)

There is nothing "material" in this world that will give a Human Being "Everlasting/Eternal Joy or Bliss" that we are all looking for ... every material object gives joy only for a short time. True Bliss can be reached by having God in your heart and acting upon the principles outlined by your faith in him.

I agree with others on the board that those who commit these sins do not have God in their heart and hence perform these malicious acts unfortunately!
