And the beat goes on!...I heard this story on NPR this morning - they cited the Wash Post article. Bad timing for McDonnell as he's currently on a swing thru VA saying how honest he is. Hahahaha!!

I recently spoke with the wife of a VA Sate Police officer assigned to the gov's detail - the gov wanted the SP to handle the investigation of him/his wife, but was told it would be a conflict of interest - as if he didn't know that! - and the SP handed the investigation over to the FBI, an agency the gov doesn't control.
