After closing our 1st Indiegogo Campaign $3000 dollars short, we have had many contact us and encourage us to keep the opportunity open to get involved with our documentary. So here is "Take 2," where we are raising $3,000 (or more!) with a new purpose for the documentary, in addition to our initial goal of giving it to schools for free.

Text Kills has partnered with We Save Lives to push for legislative and policy change in states that still do not even address distracted driving on permit and drivers licenses tests! We plan to call upon other local non-profits who share our same mission and put some pressure on lawmakers to address this serious problem now!

Our TWDocumentary is a great example of an educational piece that can be part of a much needed curriculum for new drivers.

This problem of texting and driving is not going to solve itself, and it is an elephant sized problem to fix. Laws and policies start from the ground up. With that in mind, if we rally enough support, we can make enough noise to get things like "Distracted Driving" related questions required for standard DMV tests. Acknowledging the issue is what is important here, and let's face it, some states are behind the times on taking action against distracted driving.
