A friend sent me this. I think it would make for an interesting tasting:

I wanted to mention this cava (Spanish champagne wannabe) to you and your Wine board pals. I heard about Cristalino from some wine maven on a morning news show. He said that it was easily as good as many sparkling wines that are much more expensive.

I paid only $7.99 for a bottle and expected it to be pretty darned bad. Instead, it was pretty darned good. Perhaps someone on the board might want to try it sometime and comment.

At some point down the road, a champagne/sparkling wine might be a good wine for a tasting.
