Pardon my in-artful wording if it appeared I was criticizing your opinion on legal matters. I was only referring to the value a potential buyer might place on the company. Company assets (and obligations) combined with anticipated income are generally used by a buyer to develop a purchase price. Past revenue is only useful to the extent that it implies future income. A company whose income is expected to grow will sell for more than one whose income is expected to remain the same.
