RnR: To be fair, that $30.6 million loss this quarter was STRICTLY due to two factors that really have NOTHING to do w/ the PERFORMANCE of the company's current state of business pursuits to gain REVENUE and PROFIT each month ("self sustainability from a cash flow perspective") and continue on their path to success.

“NeoMedia is announcing the strongest results in our recent history,” said Laura Marriott, CEO, NeoMedia. “We are able to announce our first ever operating income with $514k for Q2, something our team is very proud of and we are thankful to have such a supportive and strong customer base.”

$30.6MM loss due to (in thousands):
1) Gain/(loss) from change in fair value of hybrid financial instruments (29,569)
2) Gain/(loss) from change in fair value of derivative liability - Series C and D preferred stock and debentures (1,849)

In other words...all loss this last quarter is 100% due to YA's past horribly dilutive and constructed (to retail shareholders) PIPE financing deals that restricted outside investors from taking them out.

Again, I think YA now wants out because:
1) they know they can't successfully play this "dilution kills shareholder value" game again and,
2) they need to rid this from their books to look good in the eyes of the SEC since they are in a lot of hot water w/ them.

Conclusion (IMO)...they are willing to loosen or let go totally of their grip on NeoMedia AND a buyer is lurking.

All the pieces are in place for a buyer to come in and take this company to the "next" level. A buyer who would come in, IMO, would be one that themselves need and would benefit greatly from the use of the patents. A certain somebody/company comes to mind.

The time is now or never and the situation couldn't be better for this to take place.

2) NOBODY knows what's going on here EXCEPT those inside NeoMedia and YA themselves
3) Regarding anybody thinking they know what or why things are really happening...All other talk here is just pure speculation and opinion ONLY!
