GM guys..Qui the TDI w/alerts I'm working with has another line called signal line 2 and default on it is 18 periods..I changed my to a 9 and its good...it tracks nicely with the slow and fast lines on trend direction..have tried 62 on volatility bands but at this time I'm back to basic TDI params. On M5 chart with EUR/USD it triggered an alert at 1.3311 for caution which changed to strong sell with TDI trend as strong down. We'll see how that plays out.As far as the Zup86 its IMO the best one but be careful entering a trade at time a pattern completes...wait for firm reversals if you try to trade by it.
I find that using the Heikin Ashi as an overaly with TDI takes a lot of guesswork and confusion out of using TDI..also the second signal line (9) is nice..in a move up the fast/slow lines ride it on top and below the extra signal line on way down.Expansion of volatility bands are caused by strong trend moves and contraction of vol bands are consolidating areas before breakout moves so with that in mind I chose to stay with 34 on the bands.
