Sewage is not worthless if we use it as a nutrient rich fertilizer for algae growth, which in turn can be fed to fish etc... Considering waste streams and deep ocean water is really the only viable way to sustainable harvest algae, which I think you Have to agree is going to be a fact of life going into the future (algae harvesting). Maybe it will never be a viable option for fuel, I can't say, it is a hard challenge. However, there absolutely is a market for algae, in food oils, carbon sequestration (which will be mandated some day) plastics and chemicals, fertilizer, animal feed, supplements and so on. These are all growing markets, they take time. you aren't just going to pry the food oils business out of Monsanto and ADMs hands overnight. Will Originoil be a part of this future? who knows, my doubts have been growing over the time I have been following this company ( a few months prior to the 30 to 1 split). It has been hard to see a company with a seemingly good product, have such poor stock performance.

I don't personally have enough data, to say whether or not they can clean/harvest/ separate etc in an economical fashion. Studies and demos take time. You have to prove technologies over and over again before you can get scientists and big money involved, and like I pointed out before, most companies in this sector have suffered. I do not think this company was created as a fraud company, but perhaps one that dreamed to big, and may be realizing they can't deliver as much as they claimed. I personally wont count this company dead until the end of the year. However I did sell my position at a loss, as I think there is still going to be more downside before any possible upside. Thy have been saying they are going to start pulling in revs within the first half of this year, so I guess we will see what the Q10 brings. I doubt it will be anything to jump at. I am still waiting to see news that PACE and CWT have finished engineering and are manufacturing machines, with sales. if that doesn't happen by Q3, I will probably have to switch my view of the company to that of Temp and Kimble's, but not just yet.
