Here's a lovely little ditty from the sea faring days of the 17th century.
Wailing was the fortune of speculation. The great adventure of the day.
To pit one's measure against the forces of nature and the behemoths of the deep,
to forgo the security of mother earth and embrace the rapture of the the sea.....
Offering servitude and commitment to a captain and crew who were all captive on a floating oaken boat adrift in an expanse that would be like space to the stars and planets.
And so they sing!.........such is the strength of our mantra, our song.
